Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas is favored to win the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, according to an online gambling website.

BetDSI released betting lines Monday that ranked Mr. O’Rourke as the person to beat following his failed bid to unseat Republican Sen. Ted Cruz in Texas, giving him +500 odds of capturing his party’s nomination.

“With the amount of publicity the Texas race received, as well as the media’s affection with O’Rourke, there’s been a steady stream of bets on Beto in 2020,” said Brent Corobotuic, head linesman at BetDSI.

Mr. O’Rourke is followed by Sens. Kamala Harris of California (+550) and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts (+800) as well as former Vice President Joseph R. Biden and Sen. Bernard Senders of Vermont, both of whom come in at +1,000.
