New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon secured an endorsement from the Democratic Socialists of America this weekend.

On Sunday afternoon, the New York chapter of the DSA announced their support for Ms. Nixon and Jumaane Williams, a candidate for lieutenant governor of New York.

July 29, 2018[4] The two self-proclaimed democratic socialists recently endorsed[5] each other as well. “Cynthia Nixon and Jumaane Williams are the best chance we have to win universal rent control, medicare for all and many other priorities for working people in New York.
